Altar Guild

The Altar Guild consists of parishioners, both women and men, who volunteer their time to prepare the church for worship, to care for the various items that are used in worship, and to preserve the sanctity and beauty of the chancel and sanctuary.

Membership in the Altar Guild is open to any parishioner who is a confirmed communicant in good standing, and requires a  commitment of approximately two hours a month plus one "fifth Sunday" in the year (and occasionally, special services such as weddings, funerals or Holy Days).

Altar Guild members work in assigned teams of between two and four people, with each team being responsible for a particular week of the month. If you would like to serve with the Altar Guild, please speak with Father Joel Miller or one of the Altar Guild directors (Sarah Peterson or Audrey Nickel).

Altar Bread Recipe
