Murray C. Walker  is the Director of Music at Calvary Episcopal Church. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Murray holds music degrees from the University of British Columbia and California State University, Long Beach.  His singing career has included the Vancouver Chamber Choir and the choirs of (the former) St. Paul’s Cathedral of Los Angeles, Christ Church Cathedral in Vancouver, Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal and Norwich Cathedral in England.  He is presently the Head of Fine Arts and Director of Music at York School in Monterey, where his program includes two choirs, an orchestra and an early music consort.  He has served on the board of directors of the California Music Educators Association-Central Coast Section (CMEA-CCS), and is a member of the California Orchestral Directors Association (CODA) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).  Murray is the recipient of the 2012 CMEA-CCS Outstanding Music Educator's Award.
